Overview

A Lithuanian client set out to develop an ambitious AI-powered software system. The project’s complexity and the significant investment involved made choosing the right development vendor a critical decision fraught with potential financial and project risks.

Solution

To mitigate these risks and ensure the success of the project, we implemented a comprehensive approach that began with an in-depth needs analysis, conducting a thorough examination of the client’s project requirements, objectives, and vendor selection criteria. This was followed by the development of a detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) document, which outlined project specifications, desired vendor qualifications, and submission instructions, aimed at attracting vendors with the necessary expertise.

We also established a structured method for assessing vendor proposals, emphasizing technical skill, project management ability, and alignment with the project budget. Finally, we provided an in-depth evaluation of each vendor’s proposal, highlighting their capabilities, and proposed solutions, and recommending the client’s best match.

Legal Document Automation for a City Firm

Legal document automation cut standard document production time by 70 percent at a 38-lawyer City practice. Senior associates were drafting NDAs, board resolutions, and routine commercial agreements from scratch — 30 to 40 documents a week, at £350 an hour. Severus rationalised the templates first, then automated the drafting layer.

Procore–Sage Reporting Automation

Construction reporting automation turned a fourteen-hour weekly ritual into a three-hour exception review. A main contractor was hand-building its management pack from Procore, Sage, and three spreadsheets — and still shipping figures that were five days old. Severus fixed the underlying data first, then automated the reporting layer.
