What’s slowing your business down?

The problem is rarely the software. It's the operation
underneath it that nobody's properly sat down and sorted.

Too much manual work is driving up your costs

Information is copied between spreadsheets, emails and systems, leading to errors, delays and higher operating cost.

Systems don’t work together

CRM, ERP, accounting, project management — but operation is still fragmented.

Processes no longer scale

What worked for a smaller team is now slow, complex and expensive. Hiring more people only increases overhead.

You want to use AI, but don’t see the real ROI

There's no clear use case, roadmap or governance model.

Legacy software is holding you back

Critical system are expensive to maintain. They still contain essential business logic, but lock modern capabilities.

You don’t know whether to build, buy, integrate or automate

You know something needs to change, but every vendor recommends the solution they sell.

When operations start pulling in different directions, progress slows.
Here’s how we bring things back into alignment.

We Start With the Problem.
Not the Solution.

Most providers arrive with a solution
already in mind. We don't.

Before we recommend anything — software, automation, AI, or nothing at all — we understand exactly what's broken, what it costs you, and what fixing it is actually worth.

  1. We map how your business actually works — not how you think it works.

  2. We tell you what to fix first — and what not to touch yet.

  3. We design the system, select the tools, and implement it.

  4. We make sure it gets built the way it was designed.

Where We Create Impact

We're not for everyone.
We do our best work in construction,
law and fast-growing businesses.

Experts at Severus know how to apply AI in construction workflows to boost coordination, gain more control over tasking, and speed up project management.

We are a proven construction AI software company that helps contractors find their AI and optimize everything from planning and reporting to site execution.

Severus for construction

Implementing AI for law firms calls for knowledge of legal frameworks, tech limitations, and optimal room for innovation.

As a dedicated law firm process automation company, we assist legal teams in minimizing repetitive tasks, like document drafting and contract analysis, through sensitive AI automation.

Severus for law firms

We help structure operations and optimize messy internal systems before you need to scale, laying a sturdy foundation for SaaS or startup expansion.

Severus’ approach unravels the full potential of AI for business automation by targeting non-obvious yet time-consuming parts of the software workflow.

Severus for SaaS & startups

Results, Not Promises

Four businesses. Four completely different problems.
One approach: fix what's actually broken.

AI contract review for a UK MEP subcontractor: building services engineers on a live London commercial fit-out site

AI Contract Review for NEC & JCT Forms

AI contract review ended a run of three commercial disputes in eighteen months. An MEP subcontractor was losing early warning notices and time-bar deadlines inside contracts its team had already read — just not carefully enough. Severus rebuilt the review process first, then added the technology.

Legal document automation for a UK commercial law firm: fee earners reviewing contract drafts in a City of London practice

Legal Document Automation for a City Firm

Legal document automation cut standard document production time by 70 percent at a 38-lawyer City practice. Senior associates were drafting NDAs, board resolutions, and routine commercial agreements from scratch — 30 to 40 documents a week, at £350 an hour. Severus rationalised the templates first, then automated the drafting layer.

Construction systems integration for a UK fit-out contractor: tower cranes and heavy plant above a live London fit-out site

Construction Systems Integration: COINS–Procore

A fit-out contractor cut month-end reconciliation from 3 days to under 4 hours by standardising site data before integrating COINS and Procore.

Law firm workflow automation for a UK regional practice: fee earners at work in a Leeds solicitors' office

Law Firm Workflow Automation: Matter to Bill

Law firm workflow automation cut matter opening from 75 minutes to 18 and pulled six weeks out of billing lock-up. A 62-lawyer conveyancing and employment practice was keying the same client details into three systems and chasing draft bills by memory. Severus audited the process first, then automated what the audit exposed.

PropTech onboarding automation for a London property technology startup: a residential development seen from a Southwark rooftop

PropTech Onboarding Automation: 23 Days to 8

A post-seed PropTech startup cut time-to-value from 23 days to 8 by standardising onboarding before automating it — then doubled customers with no new hires

SaaS operations automation for a London B2B SaaS startup: a small team reviewing revenue and onboarding dashboards

SaaS Operations Automation Before Series A

SaaS operations automation pulled a founder out of twelve hours of weekly firefighting and gave investors clean numbers for the first time. A 22-person London startup preparing for Series A routed every non-standard decision through its CEO. Severus fixed ownership first, then automated the reporting and onboarding layers.

Property developer process automation for a UK developer: tower cranes above a mixed-use residential scheme in South East England

Property Developer Process Automation

Property developer process automation gave a construction team and an in-house legal team one shared view of commercial risk — for the first time in the business's history. Two experienced functions had run in parallel for years, connected only by email. Severus agreed the definitions first, then integrated the systems.

Common
Questions

Is Severus (severus.co) related to Severus USA or Severus Technology Group?

No. Severus (severus.co) is an independent UK business automation and operations partner for construction companies and law firms, founded in 2021, with offices in London and Tallinn. We are not connected to any US defence, engineering or technology company with a similar name.

What does Severus do?

Severus is a business automation and operations partner for construction companies, law firms and growing businesses in the UK, EU and GCC. We define the outcome your business needs, design the best route to it with the risks mapped upfront, and take full responsibility for implementing the software that gets you there.

How is Severus different from hiring a development team?

A development team builds what you ask for. We start one step earlier: we agree with you what should change in the business and how it will be measured, compare the options with their costs and risks, and then implement the one you choose at a fixed price and timeline.

Do I need to be technical to work with Severus?

No. Most of our clients run construction companies, law firms or growing businesses rather than technology teams. We explain every option in business terms and turn the outcome you want into a working system.

How does Severus approach AI?

We use AI where it pays back and say so when it doesn't. An AI Audit shows where AI applies in your operations, which options fit, and what each costs and risks. We also use AI in our own delivery to move faster.

What industries does Severus work with?

Mainly construction companies and law firms in the UK, plus SaaS companies and other growing businesses in the UK, EU and GCC.

What does a typical engagement look like?

Most clients start with a Clarity Sprint of two to three weeks to define the outcome: what must change, where, by when and in which numbers. A Solution Design Sprint then designs several routes to it, each costed and with its risks mapped. Once you choose one, we implement it at a fixed price and timeline, and support it afterwards if you need us to.

We are always in touch and ready to listen

To create effective visual maps that reflect customers’ journeys through these channels, journey maps must be rooted in data-driven research and must visually represent the different phases customers experience based on a variety of dimensions, including customer sentiment, goals and touch points.
