The outcome the client wanted
A UK SaaS company wanted to offer businesses automated pre-litigation debt collection that runs on the accounting data they already keep in Xero or QuickBooks.
What Severus built
Severus covered product strategy, solution design, UX/UI design, the build, AI integration and QA. The platform:
- pulls invoice, payment and credit-note data from Xero and QuickBooks;
- chases overdue invoices through defined stages, up to a Letter Before Action;
- sorts customer replies with AI;
- handles repayment plans and routes disputes to the right person;
- keeps an audit trail of every step.
What changed
- The platform went live in five months.
- Two developers built it.
- AI-assisted delivery cut the development effort by about half.
Why it worked
The chasing stages, the reply categories and the routing rules were designed before the build started. That let a team of two use AI-assisted delivery to build the platform quickly, without reworking the logic halfway through.
